STX Apps for developers
Anyone can build a prediction app.
Members sign in with STX, approve exactly what your app may do, and keep control. You build on the STX Prediction Platform, with live markets and SDKs in the languages you already use.

How it works
-
Create your app
Name it, add your redirect URLs and pick the permissions you need. You get demo credentials straight away.
-
Connect members
Members tap "Log in with STX" or "Link your STX account", see a plain-language consent screen and approve. Standard OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, no custom protocol to learn.
-
Build and test in demo
Trade, read portfolios and stream prices against the demo environment with test funds.
-
Submit for review
STX checks your listing and the permissions you ask for. Live access opens when STX Apps goes live in your region; until then everything runs in demo.
What your app can do
Members approve each one on the consent screen.
- See their public profile: handle and avatar
- Read their cash balance
- Read positions and settlements
- Read orders and fills
- Read transfer history (read-only, never moves money)
- Place and cancel orders on their behalf
Your app can also read the public market catalog, prices and order-book depth, and events and competitions.
Members stay in control.
They see every app they've connected and can disconnect any of them at any time. An app that places orders runs from server addresses you register.

Questions
What people ask first.
- Does it cost anything to build?
- No. Building and testing in the demo environment is free. STX shares the terms for live apps before your app goes live.
- Do my users need an STX account?
- Yes. They sign up or log in during connect, and you never handle their password.
- Where is it available?
- Apps are available in the US.
- When does live access open?
- Live access opens when STX Apps goes live in your region. Build and test in the demo environment now; your code carries over unchanged.
